Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Secretary Navin Mittal, along with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) MD Dana Kishore, Hyderabad Metro Rail MD N V S Reddy and senior officials inspected the works pertaining to junction improvement development, road widening, water stagnation points on Saturday.

Inspection was conducted at Nagarjuna Circle, Muffakham Jah college way, Srinagar colony junction, Jubilee Hills check-post, KBR Park, Madhapur, Hi-tech City, Kondapur and other areas. Navin Mittal directed the officials to look into the problem arising at Nagarjuna circle and solve it at the earliest.

Later, they visited Muffakham Jah college area where the construction of footover bridge is being taken up. The officials pointed out that at this area lot of accidents are taking place for which already road widening and other precautionary measures were taken up. It has also been observed that footpaths at KBR Park were badly damaged for which clear directions had been given to take up their restoration immediately.

The officials inspected the SRDP works at KBR Park, Jubilee Hills check- post and other areas where flyover is built. The officials directed the engineering staff to carry out road repairs to road between Jubilee Hills and Madhapur as the stretch is full of potholes. The staff were also directed to clear the building material strewn around the area.

The team also visited Botanical Garden at Kondapur where the Secretary and the officials participated in the Haritha Haram programme and planted saplings.
