Khammam: The Communist Party of India alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrshekar Rao was trying to gain political milage by criticising opposition parties in unparliamentary language.

Party leaders led by city secretary of the party S K Jani Miya on Thursday took out a rally from Giri Prasad Bhavan to Bypass road and burnt an effigy of the Chief Minister.

Speaking on the occasion, Jani Miya stated that CPI had actively participated in the separate Telangana movement along with TRS party and faced police cases.

He stated that the CPI was the only party that extended support to KCR when he took up indefinite strike for separate state. “KCR is trying to deceive people with his mesmerising words and criticising the opposition parties using unparliamentary language. People are observing every move of the TRS party and is ready to teach a fitting lesson in coming up days,” he warned.

Party city unit leaders Mohammad Salaam, Thati Venkateshwarlu, Mekala Srinivas Rao, Y Sambashiva Reddy, Jagarlamudi Ranjith Kumar, Gade Lakshmi Narayana, Rama Krishna, Dasari Ramu and Adapa Jawahar Babu participated in the protest rally.
