Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the Mission Bhagiratha works at Kompally.
Speaking in this regard, KTR described the project in detail and said that the scheme is being set up at a cost of Rs. 628 cr and that a reservoir will be built which would cater to a number of villages.
The drinking water needs will be catered through the project to nearly 10 lakh people in 183 villages and seven municipalities.
The Minister also explained that the state government is ensuring 24x7 power supply and daily water supply to the public.
