Hyderabad: The Telangana government Junior Lecturers’ Association on Monday submitted representation to Special Chief Secretary, Intermediate Education, Ranjeev Ranjan Acharya seeking promotions for Principals of Junior Colleges as as DEOs.
Association leaders Mohd Ismail (president), Ch Yadagiri (general secretary) and B Laxmaiah (treasurer) said in the representation submitted in the State Secretariat that DPC for only seven posts of DEOs had been conducted previously, whereas, there are 18 posts of DEOs in Intermediate Education.
The leaders appealed to the Special Chief Secretary to consider promotions for government junior lectures to fill the 18 sanctioned posts of DEOs ‘in the larger interest of the system’.
