According to the orders issued by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ramneni Srikanth of Rudraram village in Jayashankar-Bhupalpally district has been elected as one of the members of National Monitoring Committee for Minorities’ Education (NMCME).

Hyderabad: According to the orders issued by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, Ramneni Srikanth of Rudraram village in Jayashankar-Bhupalpally district has been elected as one of the members of National Monitoring Committee for Minorities’ Education (NMCME).

Ramneni Srikanth has been taking active participation in various student movements for education reforms right from his educational days in Warangal. After his education, he further moved to the north east region of the country to work in the field of education.

During this course of time, he worked towards identifying and breaking down the terrorists groups among the minority students and helped to build a nationalist belief among the students. He also contributed in working against the intruders from Bangladesh.

The established NMCME is being set up to advise the government on all matters pertaining to education of minorities. In addition, it will also review the functioning of various schemes launched by the Ministry for the purpose of promoting minority education. The committee has also been instructed to meet and discuss as often as required, but at least once in a year.
