Bias among healthcare professionals resented

Hyderabad: Dr Shivangi Maletia, Miss India 2014 and Dental surgeon has said the discrimination among healthcare professionals has been affecting the overall performance on health sector.

On the second day of World Health Congress-2017 being held here on Tuesday, she spoke on ``Healthy mind, empowered souls”. Discrimination was created among health care professionals because of poor practices, she said.

She emphasised on all round development of the health care sector. Shivangi motivated the students and young achievers to fight such conceptual illness through constant self-motivation.

Dr Anthony Melvin Crasto, Principal Scientist, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, gave presentation on “Medicines on Auto-immune diseases”.
