The Telangana government has declared September 5th as a public holiday in view of heavy rush on Ganesh immersion.

The holiday is applicable for government offices, schools and colleges in Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy and Medchal districts.
Since Tuesday has been declared holiday, the state government has announced that September 9th, which is the second Saturday will be a working day.
