District president of Telangana Vidhyavanthula Vedika (TVV) K V Krishna Rao, extending his support to the representatives of DBHSC, said that 4.5 crore people in Telangana region participating in the separate statehood movement.

“Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao before going to election made many promises and boasted of transforming the State into Bangaru Telangana. KCR even promised of taking back of lands encroached by Ramoji Rao. But now, after coming to power, the TRS government is allotting valuable lands to multinational companies at throw away prices and deceiving Telangana people by not even allotting 100 yards for the construction of a house to the poor shelterless people,” he criticised.

CPI district secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao said the CPI would always fight for the people’s issues and demanded the government to allot the 2BHK houses to the shelterless poor people apart from issuing pattas to all eligible beneficiaries immediately.

YSRCP district president Lakkineni Sudheer Babu and Venkateshwarlu, CPI city secretary S K Jani Miya, Ashok, Nageshwar Rao and the representatives of DBHSC Bhattu Lalitha, Y Kaladhar, K Nageshwar Rao, V Babu, D Sathyavathi, Sampath, Yakub, Soyamma, Uma, Sunitha, S K Waheda Begum, Durga Bhavani and Chandra Kala were present along with others.
