BJP takes out rally for Telangana Liberation Day in Kamareddy
The BJP leaders and activists, headed by its National Executive Member Perala Sekhar Rao, took out a huge rally in the town on Wednesday and laid siege to the District Collectorate, demanding the State government to officially celebrate September 17 as Telangana Liberation Day.

The BJP activists took out a rally from the bus station to the Collectorate and laid siege to it. The police took the leaders into custody.
Perala pointed out that the TRS prior to coming to power sought official celebration of the Telangana Liberation Day but changed the track soon after coming to power.
Succumbing to pressure tactics by the MIM, the TRS ignored those, who sacrificed their lives for Telangana. He said that the BJP would celebrate Telangana Liberation Day on September 17.
