Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao on Wednesday said that the TRS Government has improved the facilities and services in all government hospitals across the Telangana State.

Speaking after launching the ANM online App of Health Department in Siddipet, Harish Rao said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has brought revolutionary changes in the health sector which revived people's faith on government hospitals. He said the number of deliveries in government hospitals has increased significantly. In Siddipet Government Hospital alone, 503 deliveries took place in July and 483 in August. He said introduction of KTR Kits has encouraged pregnant women to go for institutional deliveries.

Harish Rao said as against the rate of 75% cesarean deliveries a few months ago in Siddipet district, the present rate has come down to 55%. He advised doctors to reduce the cesarean deliveries to 25%. He also listed out various other measures being implemented by the TRS Government to improve health sector.

Health Commissioner Vakati Karuna and other senior officials were also present.
