Vice President to lay foundation stone for RVTCW on Sept 16
informed that Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu will lay the foundation stone for New Regional Vocational Training Centre for Women in Telangana in ATI Campus at Vidya Nagar, in the presence of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, September 16.

Former Union Minister Bandaru Dattatraya, in a media statement, thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the concerned Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the same.
He recalled that he had accorded its Administrative Approval for Telangana while himself being the concerned Minister in 2014. He also stated that Rs 19.95 crores were allocated for the Institute. The said institute caters to vocational training needs of 480 women/girls annually in regular courses and further 480 women/girls for various short term courses in skill areas having high market demand.
Dattatraya also stated that one year courses in Architectural Draughtsmanship, Food and Beverages Services, Front Office Management, Cosmetology, Secretarial Practice, Fashion Design & technology will be taught and all these courses will have the NCTVT(National Council of Vocational Training, Govt of India recognition and will be most preferred for the jobs nationally and internationally. He stated that Women empowerment through skill development is the main focus of Narendra Modi’s Government.
He congratulated the women of Telangana on this happy occasion and wished them the decent employment, better wages after the said vocational training.
