Tussle during Bathukamma sarees distribution in Yadadri

A minor tussle broke out during the distribution of Bathukamma sarees at Mothkur in Yadadri district on Tuesday. While distribution of sarees by local MLA Gadhari Kishore, a woman, Padma, questioned the MLA on the quality and cost of the sarees.
Mothkur: A minor tussle broke out during the distribution of Bathukamma sarees at Mothkur in Yadadri district on Tuesday. While distribution of sarees by local MLA Gadhari Kishore, a woman, Padma, questioned the MLA on the quality and cost of the sarees.
The shocked MLA lost his temper and got into an altercation with the woman. Soon, Padma along with others raised slogans against the MLA and stated that government was insulting women by distributing poor quality sarees in the name of festival.
Meanwhile, the TRS activists at the venue raised pro-government slogans. To bring the situation under control, police arrested Padma and shifted her to local police station.
