The Regional Passport office, Hyderabad will accept Passport/PCC/GEP applications of Senior Citizens of age above 60 years and Minors below the age of 5 years in Walk-in mode during the working hours on any working day. 

Hyderabad: The Regional Passport office, Hyderabad will accept Passport/PCC/GEP applications of Senior Citizens of age above 60 years and Minors below the age of 5 years in Walk-in mode during the working hours on any working day.

The applicants in the above mentioned categories, henceforth will need no prior appointment to submit their applications at Passport Seva Kendras but they have to come to PSKs with their Application Reference Number (ARN) sheet and requisite documents. This provision is available at all Passport Seva Kendras under the jurisdiction of Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad with immediate effect.

As part of the ongoing efforts to simplify the Passport application process, the competent authority has also approved acceptance of “rental agreement” as proof of address. Further, keeping in view of their special circumstances, persons with physical disabilities in their hands and children below 5 years of age have been exempted from finger print scanning while applying for passports.
