TSWRS students excel in martial arts
The students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential School (TSWRS) for Boys bagged three gold and four silver medals in the inter-state Open Martial Arts championship-2017 competitions.
Bellampalli: The students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential School (TSWRS) for Boys bagged three gold and four silver medals in the inter-state Open Martial Arts championship-2017 competitions.
The School Principal Saidulu said Avanuri Adarsh (8th class), Durgam Mahesh (7th class) and Borukuntla Sravan (6th class) bagged gold medals while Dogre Suman (7th class) and 6th students CH Aravind, Swadesh Raj, Kota Likith and Narukudu Abhilash bagged silver medals.
Karate Master Bharath, speaking in a special programme held on the occasion at the School on Monday, said it is necessary for everyone to learn self-defense. He encouraged students to achieve black belt in Karate.
Kasipeta Residential School Principal Shankar Dev, Bellampalli TSWRS Vice-Principal Rama Rao, Karate Masters Mounika, Tony Ramachander, House Masters Durgam Rajanna, Ganapathi, Ram Das, Rajender, teaching staff and others were present.
