Engineering student brutally attacks classmate over Whatsapp comments
Two engineering students in Hyderabad were attacked by their classmate allegedly over comments in WhatsApp group they had made against each other.

The incident took place outside Narasimha Reddy Engineering College at Maisammaguda in Petbasheerabad.
The accused student Rohit, who is absconding since the attack, allegedly took out a pocket knife inflicting a bleeding injury on Bhuvaneshwar, a first year civil engineering student. Rohit even went on to attack another student, Vaibhav Tiwari who attempted to stop the former.
Bhuvaneshwar, suffered a cut on his left cheek and neck. He was admitted immediately to Malla Reddy Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Jeedimetla. According to the police, Bhuvaneshwar and Rohit had posted comments in the WhatsApp group against each another which resulted in a rift between them.
Police have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding student and a case has been registered against him under the section 307 of IPC.
