Earthquake scare has hit Hyderabad, with the residents of Borabanda and Rahamat Nagar areas complaining that they were woken up from sleep in the early hours of Saturday following tremors.
People from the surrounding areas too complained of experiencing mild tremors.
Cracks were found in some houses and the National Geophysical Research Institute (NGRI) that has set up two seismic activity detectors, recorded 16 micro-earthquakes.
The NGRI scientists declared the magnitude as very small.
