Bharata Natyam course in University of Silicon Andhra
With the aim of spreading India’s fine arts and literature to the world, University of Silicon Andhra, incorporated in California, is starting Bharata Natyam course from January 2018 in view of the huge response from students.
Hyderabad: With the aim of spreading India’s fine arts and literature to the world, University of Silicon Andhra, incorporated in California, is starting Bharata Natyam course from January 2018 in view of the huge response from students.
It is offering masters, diploma and certificate courses in Kuchipudi and Karnataka music since January 2017. Chief Academic Officer Raju Chamarthy said in a press that the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) has permitted the course.
University Chief Financial Officer Dinababu Kondabatla said various courses in literature and music are planned next year.
Academic Committee Chairman and University Board member Dr Pappu Venugopal Rao, Academic Advisory Member (Bharata Natyam), C V Chandrashekar, University CEO Kuchibotla Anand and CCO Dileep Kondiparthy expressed happiness over the university getting permission to launch courses.
