Rains likely to return in Telangana from Oct 26

Telangana witnessed heavy rains in the month of October, however, the state has not recorded any rain activity in the past week or two.

According to the weather department, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka Coast and another is stationed over the southeast Arabian Sea up close to North Kerala with a trough formed between these two.

Another trough is seen extending to Coastal Arabian Sea across South Karnataka and Telangana.

Due to this, rains are likely to hit the southern parts of Telangana starting on October 26.

Light rain and thundershowers are expected even in the northern parts of the state in the coming days.
