Veteran actress and former Member of Parliament M Vijayashanti is all set to return to active politics as she met Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on Tuesday.
The actress-turned-politician had joined Congress ahead of 2014 elections after she was suspended from TRS for anti-party activities.
She, however, stayed away from the active politics following her defeat in 2014 elections.
After lying low for three years, Vijayashanti is making a comeback and has informed Rahul Gandhi that she will work for the victory of Congress in 2019 elections.
According to the party sources, Vijayashanti might get a prominent responsibility in the organization.
