Khammam: Free education and free health is the right of every child and the District Legal Cell Authority will always strive hard in protecting the child rights, provided by the Constitution of India, assured District Chief Judge M Lakshman here on Tuesday.
He inaugurated the ‘Free Dental medical camp’ organised on the occasion of Children’s Day under District Legal Cell Authority to the students of Kasturba School and Street Children School here on Tuesday. Speaking on occasion, the District Chief Judge said that courts were not meant to show solutions for different cases but also to work for the protection of child rights.
About 44 per cent of children were present in total ratio of population in India. It is the responsibility of everyone to strive hard for protecting their rights. Healthy society can be built only when the children are healthy. It is happy to organise such free medical health camps for children, he said.
Special Complain box will be established under Legal Cell Authority in every school for solving various issues the children are facing with. Children can post their complaints if they have any. After pursuing every complaint posted in the complaint box, necessary steps will be taken for solving them, assured the District Judge.
Later, M Lakshman distributed food, blankets and various playing items to the students on the occasion of Children’s Day celebrations. Secretary of the District Legal Cell Authority Vinod Kumar, Advocate Devaki Srinivas Gupta, Dentist Dr. Nagubandi Kiran Kumar, District Educational Officer Vasanti, BAR association President P Pattabhi and MEO M Srinivas Rao were present along with others.
