Khammam: Triveni School Principal Rajendra Prasad said November 14 was being celebrated as Children’s Day as a token of the love and affection, which the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had for children and youth and in recognition of his contribution to develop education in the country.

He participated in Children’s Day celebrations held at the school here on Tuesday. The School Director Veerendra paid rich tributes to Nehru by garlanding his portrait. Students donned the role of teachers and said they realised the hardships of their teachers in teaching lessons. The School Director Y Venkateswara Rao, CRO Murali Krishna, Academic in-charge Mustafa, Kids in-charge R Sri Devi, Campus in- charge Charles and others took part in the celebrations.
