Gold jewellery goes missing from CBI ex-JD house
A theft was reported in the house of former Joint Director of CBI and senior IPS officer V V Lakshminarayana here on Saturday. The family members of Lakshminarayana lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police about a missing jewellery box, containing about a kg of gold.
Hyderabad: A theft was reported in the house of former Joint Director of CBI and senior IPS officer V V Lakshminarayana here on Saturday. The family members of Lakshminarayana lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police about a missing jewellery box, containing about a kg of gold.
According to the complaint, the box containing gold jewellery was found missing from the house. Sources said a family member approached the police on Saturday with the complaint after noticing that the jewellery box was missing. However, the complainant could not confirm to the police about the exact date or time of the theft.
The complainant expressed suspicion about the role of domestic help. Lakshminarayana is currently working in Maharashtra as additional Director General of Police.
