Fare structure for Hyderabad Metro to be notified soon
Telangana Chief Secretary SP Singh on Friday announced that the ticket prices for the Hyderabad Metro Rail, which is scheduled to be launched on November 28 will be notified in the coming few days.

He informed that the proposal for pricing has already been submitted and will be cleared by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao within a period of two days.
The Metro Rail will be open to the public from November 29.
Previously, the government notifications mentioned the basic fare of up to 2 km would be fixed at Rs 8 but the final fixed price is likely to be increased.
According to the reports, smart cards will be issued for the commuters along with tokens which would allow them to board the train.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the 30 km stretch of the first phase of the 72-km elevated Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) project on November 28.
