Kavitha-Ivanka tete-a-tete on cards

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha might get to spend a few precious moments with Ivanka Trump on the sidelines of the inaugural of Global Entrepreneur Summit on November 28.

Ivanka Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be gracing the global event for which the entire city has been decked up and the area has been turned into an impregnable fortress and made out of bounds for the ordinary earthlings. According to sources, Kavitha is planning to explain to Ivanka the richness, greatness and vibrancy of Telangana culture and traditions.

Kavitha, founder president of Telangana Jagruti, played a crucial role in reviving Telangana culture during the separate Telangana movement in the state. If she misses meeting her at the global event, then she might get an opportunity for tete-a-tete with US president’s daughter at Falaknuma Palace the same night where Modi is hosting dinner for the delegates of the summit.

It is learnt that Kavitha name was also included in the special delegates list prepared by the Telangana government. A request for a meeting between Ivanka and Kavitha has been sent to her security personnel and the Protocol Department of the state government. Initially, Ivanka was scheduled to stay for three days in the city. But she has cut short her visit to one-and-a-half day.

She would arrive in Hyderabad on November 28 afternoon and will attend the inaugural of the summit. She will join the dinner hosted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the same night at Falaknuma Palace. Before leaving the city on November 29 afternoon, Ivanka will participate in two important panel discussions to be organised at the summit venue – HICC.
