A Kiran trainer aircraft crashed in Siddipet today when the cadet tried to make an emergency landing.
According to a report from a leading news agency, the woman cadet in the trainer aircraft suffered minor injuries.
The cadet took off the plane from the Hakimpet Air Force but failed while making an emergency landing.
She, however, managed to eject in time and save herself. She was rushed to nearby hospital by the locals and is undergoing treatment.
The IAF has initiated a court of inquiry.
