Hyderabad: A team of Special Operations Team (SOT), Rachakonda, arrested three persons for running online prostitution. The police also rescued a woman from Uzbekistan.

The accused who is identified as Jogeshwara Rao, belongs to Devarapalli in East Godavari district. He was running online website from Krishna Nagar in SR Nagar here in the city by luring youth with semi-nude photos of models and teenage girls.

He used to rope in models from others states for the flesh trade. Jogeshwara Rao, who has contacts with several flesh trade rackets, used to book flight tickets for the models and pay hotel bills in the city. By showing the photos of the models to the youth he used to lure prospective customers. The accused used to charge somewhere around Rs 50,000 from a customer.

On November 19, he happened to meet one Osman from Delhi. Both struck a deal and brought a women from Uzbekistan to Hyderabad. He then lodged her in Krithriya hotel and had sent her to his customers. Following a tip-off, Malkajgiri tracked the accused Jogeshwara Rao and others — Lakshman, Gopal. The police also recovered a Rs 25,000 in cash, five mobile phones, a four-wheeler vehicle from them.
