Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump's daughter and presidential adviser, Ivanka Trump attended a gala dinner at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad on Tuesday evening.

Hosted by the Union government as part of the ongoing Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017, the dinner was arranged for around 1,500 delegates of the GES on the lawns of the palace.

The Royal Dinner had the prominent delegates dine at the Nizam-era table which can seat 101 guests at a time. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was among those present for the dinner.

A five-course menu was prepared for the royal guests with the visitors served mouth-watering delicacies comprising typical Telangana cuisine, besides Mughlai and continental dishes.

Local delicacies such as Dahi ke kebab, Gosht shikampuri kebab, Kubani ke malai kofta, Murg pista ka salan and Sitaphal kulfi, Aghaz (soup), Mezban (appetizers), Waqfa (sorbet), Mashgool Dastarkhwan (main course) and Zauq e shahi (dessert) were the part of the menu including the Hyderabadi biryani.

The Falaknuma Palace has been deployed with over 2,000 police personnel with the police conducting a door-to-door search at 3,500 houses in surrounding areas apart from the authorities sanitizing the areas in the run-up to the summit.

A total of 10,400 security personnel drawn from various wings including Traffic Police, Central Armed Reserve, Telangana State Special Police, Intelligence Security Wing, commandos of Greyhounds anti-Naxal force and the elite OCTOPUS anti-terror force have been deployed as part of security arrangements for the summit.
