Six-year-old girl found murdered in sewer pipeline, sexual assault suspected
A six-year-old girl was found murdered in a sewer pipeline in the Medak district on Thursday.
A six-year-old girl was found murdered in a sewer pipeline in the Medak district on Thursday.
The girl, the daughter of a labourer from Bihar who migrated to Muthireddypally in Manoharabad Mandal of Medak was allegedly kidnapped on Wednesday.
According to the reports, an unidentified person abducted the girl from school on Wednesday afternoon on the pretense of her parents had asked him to bring the child home.
With the girl not returning home by evening, her parents lodged a complaint with the police who found her body in the sewer pipeline on the outskirts of Muthireddypally village.
The police suspect that the girl was first allegedly sexually assaulted and then killed. Two persons have been taken into custody suspecting their involvement in the case.
