Hitec City: The three-day Children’s Theatre Festival that stated on December 13 concluded with a puppet and music show here on Friday. The festivals enlightened young minds by showcasing stories relating to environment preservation.

The eighth edition presented a special focus on environmental issues and witnessed over 1,200 students from schools like Aga Khan Academy, Lumina Montessori, Oakridge, Jubilee Hills Public School, Manthan, and Pebble Creek Schools that participated in it.

The festival which was held at Shilpakala Vedika showcased colours of nature by a theatre group from Mumbai named Swangvale. Young minds participated in all the happenings of the festival with enthusiasm.

The thought-evoking quiz on environmental issues gave out enlightening answers from the children and mentioned how their parents were going wrong when it comes to conservation of power. The event also witnessed underprivileged children who involved themselves in fun and games.

In addition, a 65-minute play directed and written by Dhanendra Kawadwe, which mentioned the importance of nature and the effects of global warming, was staged.
Students from different schools had a fun learning session at the children’s theatre festival by gaining the knowledge about the importance of environment.
