Girls of Bhavans Junior college won the School Games Federation (SGF) U-19 handball championship here recently. This is the 13th year for Bhavans Jr College to attain victory in the event. This year, the team defeated their counterparts from Kasturbha Junior College with a majority score of 13-6.

Individual scores of the team Aishwaya (four), Uma (seven) and Pranitha (two) giving a tough competition to the girls from Kasturbha College who scored as follows; Santoshi (three) and Hemalatha (three).
