Reacting on the results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections on Monday, the MIM President that Akhilesh Yadav, Mamata Banerji or Owaisi could not defeat the BJP individually. He said unity among all opposition parties was essential to stop the BJP's winning streak. He said BJP was winning elections only to weak opposition.
Asaduddin Owaisi said that the Congress had a good opportunity to defeat BJP in Gujarat elections. However, he said that the Congress had badly missed the opportunity. He said that the BJP could not win all elections in the name of Aurangzeb and Pakistan.
