Mathineni Veeraiah, Chairman for Congress Specially Challenged wing demanded the officials to provide opportunities to the specially challenged according to 2016 specially challenged act.
He termed merging Specially-abled Department with Child Development Department as not proper. He also demanded 10 per cent jobs for the hearing impaired at parking lots and commercial complexes in the RTC Bus Stations.
Divyangula Hakkula Porata Samiti President Ande Rambabu, Satish, Prasad, Venkatesh, Bharathi and others took part.
