27 IAS officials shifted in major reshuffle

Hyderabad: Eying to strengthen governance further ahead of 2019 elections, the Telangana government on Tuesday effected major reshuffle in the state administration.

As many as 27 IAS officials, including senior most bureaucrats, were transferred and posted in different departments. State Finance Secretary SS Sultania, Commissioner, Information and Public Relations and MA&UD Secretary Navin Mittal, Animal Husbandry Secretary Suresh Chanda, Revenue Secretary BR Meena and Resident Commission in Delhi Arvind Kumar were among the top officials transferred and posted.

Special Chief Secretary to Animal Husbandry and Fisheries department Suresh Chanda has been transferred and posted as Member Secretary to Telangana State Finance Commission.

Special Chief Secretary to Revenue BR Meena was transferred and posted as Secretary to Telangana State SC/ST Commission.

Special Chief Secretary to Health and Medical Rajeshwar Tiwari was transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary to Revenue. IAS officier A Santi Kumari was posted as Principal Secretary to Health department. She will also continue as Principal Secretary to CM and CEO, Industry Chasing Cell.

Resident Commissioner to Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi Arvind Kumar was transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Municipal Administration & Urban Development department, vice Navin Mittal transferred. Arvind was placed in full additional charge of the post of Commissioner I&PR and EO, Principal Secretary to government in the place of Mittal. On transfer, Mittal is posted as Commissioner, Collegiate Education and Technical Education, duly relieving A Vani Prasad from full additional charge.

Principal Secretary to Backward Classes department G Ashok Kumar was transferred and posted as Resident Commissioner, Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi. State Secretary to Tourism department B Venkatesham was placed in full additional charge to post of Secretary to BC Welfare department.
State Excise & Prohibition Commissioner RV Chandravadan was transferred and posted as Commissioner and EO, Secretary, Revenue (Disaster Management) Department. Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary to government, Revenue (Commercial Taxes and Excise) was placed in additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Prohibition & Excise.

State Finance Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania was transferred and posted as Secretary to Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries in the vacancy arisen due to transfer of Suresh Chanda. Secretary to Home department Anita Rajendra was transferred and posted as Commission to BC Welfare and Secretary BC Commission.

Secretary to Minority Welfare department Syed Omar Jaleel was transferred and posted as Collector to Vikarabad duly relieving M Raghunandan Rao from additional charge. HMWS&SB Managing Director M Dana Kishore was placed in additional charge to the post of Secretary Minority Welfare.

Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Dr Christina Z Chongthu was transferred and posted as Commissioner, Tribal Welfare, vice R Laxman (IRS) transferred. Jyoti Budha Prakash, who is waiting for posting, was posted as Secretary to government, SC Development Department, duly relieving Ajay Misra from additional charge. Director, Public Health, Vakati Karuna was transferred and posted as Director, Land Administration. She was also placed in full additional charge of the post of Director, Public Health and Family Welfare.

The 2005 batch official K Ilambarthi, who is waiting for posting, was posted as Secretary, State Information Commission. M Champalal, who is waiting for posting, was posted as Joint Secretary, Home (Sainik Welfare) Department.

Joint Secretary to Panchayat Raj and Rural Development MRM Rao was transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate, Nizamabad, in the existing vacancy. Jangaon Collector A Sri Devasena was transferred and posted as Collector to Peddapalli, duly relieving RV Karnan from additional charge. Yadadri - Bhongir Collector Anita Ramachandran was placed in full additional charge of the post of Collector and District Magistrate, Jangaon. Jayashankar–Bhupalapally Collector A Murali was transferred and posted as Director, State Archives, duly placing Mancheryal Collector RV Karnan in additional charge of the post of Collector, Jayashankar-Bhupalapally.

Medak Collector Bharati Hollikeri was transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation), duly placing Manick Raj, Collector and District Magistrate, Sangareddy, in FAC of the post of Collector, Medak.

Mahabubabad Collector Preeti Meena was transferred and posted as Director, AIDS Control Society, duly replacing Khammam Collector Lokesh Kumar in additional charge. Joint Collector and Killu Shiva Kumar Naidu, Mahbubnagar, was transferred and posted as Secretary, State Planning Board. The Collector, Mahbubnagar, shall make internal arrangement for the post of Joint Collector, Mahbubnagar.

CCLA (Chief Commissioner Land Administration) Secretary Khartade Kalicharan Sudamrao was transferred and posted as OSD, Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi. Sub Collector Bodhan, Nizamabd district, Sikta Patnaik was transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, GHMC. Sub Collector to Metpally Md Musharraf Ali Faruqui was transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, GHMC. The 2015 batch IAS official Anurag Jayanthi was posted as Sub Collector to Bodhan in Nizamabad District.

Gowtham Potru was posted as Sub Collector, Metpalli, Jagtial District. Pamela Satpathy was posted as Sub Collector to Bhadrachalam in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district in the existing vacancy and Rahul Raj was posted as Sub Collector in Bellampally in Mancherial district.
