Ram Reddy Lions Eye Hospital in Mahbubnagar is planning to organise a month long free eye camps across various centres in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district. As part of this the organisers have released a scheduled calendar of eye camps to be held at 17 major places starting from January 3 to 30 across all major towns of four districts of Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Gadwal and residual Mahbubnagar.

Mahbubnagar: Ram Reddy Lions Eye Hospital in Mahbubnagar is planning to organise a month long free eye camps across various centres in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district. As part of this the organisers have released a scheduled calendar of eye camps to be held at 17 major places starting from January 3 to 30 across all major towns of four districts of Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Gadwal and residual Mahbubnagar.

“Starting Kulkicherla in Mahbubnagar, we will organise free eye camps at 17 major towns of Kosgi, Shantinagar, Atmakur, Makthal, Nagarkurnool, Koilkonda, Maddur, Mahabubnagar, Amangal, Gadwal, Kalwakurthy, Atmakur, Ieeja, Achampet, Pebbair and Kodangal. The last camp will be held at Kodangal mandal on January 30. We urge all the needy people utilise this opportunity. Particularly the poor and old aged people who cannot afford to visit these eye camps and get their eyes check up for free,” said Vijay Kumar Reddy, Administrative officer of Ram Reddy Lions Hospital.

Ever since its inception in Mahbubnagar, the Ram Reddy Lions Eye hospital has been rendering philanthropic free eye camps and had served thousands of poor blind people to attain their eye sights. Recognising its services, recently, Jitender Reddy, Member of Parliament from Mahbubnagar also donated a bus worth Rs 15 lakh from his MPLADS funds to ferry poor blind people to and fro from villages to the hospital free of cost.
