Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will lay the foundation stone for Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Green Industrial Park at Dandu Malkapur village in Yadadri district in February. The objective of the park is to encourage MSME along with other major industries.

According to Industrial Department officials, the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) had acquired 377 acres for the park. The Telangana Industrialists Federation (TIF) had earlier approached the State government for establishment of the green park.

However, as many as 400 MSME units of multifaceted sectors will come up in the park. The land acquisition for the first phase was completed with 377 acres and the acquisition of 100-acres for second phase is still under process. The official said that for the first phase, all the environment clearances were granted, and the administrative approvals are in the final stage.

Speaking to The Hans India, TIF president Kondaveeti Sudheer Reddy said, “we have already identified 400 units to set up at the green park and with these units we would provide direct employment to 20,000 local youth.” The TIF members would invest Rs 1,200 crore for the establishment of 400 units.
The green industrial park will be jointly developed by TSIIC and TIF.

Talking about internal infrastructure, he said, “for uninterrupted 24-hour quality power supply we will be utilising the latest technology called Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA).” The SCADA system provides uninterrupted power supply at minimum power generation cost. No other State has this system, he added.

As much as 33 per cent land would be earmarked to make the park greener, he said. All the inside roads will be covered with LED central lighting system. The park would be set up as a model to future MSME units in the State. Skill development facilities will be established to train local youth. The unique feature of the Green Park is that power lines will be laid totally underground, he said.
