A Telangana boy, who was trafficked to Saudi Arabia, has been rescued by the Indian embassy and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

The victim, Md. Jamaal was duped by an agent on the pretext of a job in a restaurant in Riyadh but made him work as a laborer. However, when he sought to come back to India, his employer demanded 3,000 Riyal to send him back and even after paying him, he was not sent back.

The family wrote a letter to Sushma Swaraj and within 10 days, their son returned back.

The family thanked the External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj and the Indian embassy for their help.
