He said during the same period most backward class (MBC) communities were recognised, as their role in the Telangana agitation was most crucial, and the TRS government set up MBC Corporation with an allocating Rs 1,000 crore.

Ravi alleged that while no amount was spent for the benefit of MBCs, Rs 300 crore was utilised for the Bathukamma Sari scheme. He demanded a share for MBCs in politics, while calling upon the community representatives to unite to vote only for MBC candidates in the ensuing elections. ‘Justice will be done only when MBCs are in power, he asserted.

Among those who attended the function were State Artisans’ Association leader Kumaraswamy, Bhishma Chary, Yerram Srinivasulu, Vinod, Swamy Yadav, Hameed, Satyanarayana Chary and Lakshminarayana Chary.
