Unauthorized hoardings in Hyderabad to be removed immediately

Municipal Administration authorities have appealed to all the building owners, agencies and other individuals to remove all the unauthorized advertisement structures in Hyderabad immediately.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officials held a review meeting on Monday where the Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar directed authorities to file cases under relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code against those who have permitted such unauthorized structures in addition to imposing penalties in the form of fines.

Mentioning that these hoardings are leading to traffic congestions by blocking the view of traffic signals, he also recalled the instances of hoardings falling resulting in damage to property
