Yadadri: On the second day of Annual Brahmotsavams, Dwajarohanam was performed on Sunday at the Yadadri temple amidst chanting of Vedic hymns by the Vedic scholars. The flag post hoisted a white flag with Garuda symbol on it. The deities of Lord Laxmi Narasimha Swamy and His Consort Goddess Lakshmi were decorated attractively with silk clothes and flowers.

In the evening on the day, amidst chanting hymns and traditional music, temple priests conducted Beri Puja (inviting three crore Gods to the celestial wedding of Lord Laxmi Narsimha Swamy). Chief priest N Lakshminarasimha Charyulu informed that the four-day Swamy Alankara Seva will commence from Monday.

Temple EO Geetha, temple chairman Narasimha Murthy, priests K Lakshminarasimha Charyulu, Venkatacharyulu and others participated in the programme. According to official information, as many as 30,000 devotees visited Bala Alayam and had Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy darshan on the day. Devotees strongly believe that those who witness the Garudotsavam and receive the prasaad will be blessed with children.
