Hyderabad : The HMRL on Monday successfully resumed 1200 sq yds of prime property of HMDA at Ameerpet metro station which was under occupation of Ever Cars for the last many years.

This property was handed over to us by HMDA a month ago for developing it as a parking area for Ameerpet metro station. Ever Cars has been dodging to vacate this prime property worth about Rs 15 cr for the last many years through various methods including court litigation.

This is the second successful resumption of prime properties belonging to government organisations this month by HMRL. About 10 days ago we successfully resumed 2800 sq yds of another prime property adjacent to Nampally Sarai between Nampally metro station and railway station which was a GHMC property transferred to us. This Nampally property worth about Rs. 28 crore was under occupation of a private taxi association for many decades. This will also be developed as a bus & evehicle bay and parking hub with all modern amenities by HMRL.
