Hyderabad: Managing Director of HMWSSB M Danakishore called upon officials to expedite the ORR project work so as to complete them on schedule, with a clear plan of action.
At a review meeting on the project and Rs.1,900 crore HUDCO works, attended by officials of various wings and representatives of the organisations which are involved, he advised them to increase the work force, besides taking adequate precautions at the field level.

Danakishore said the ORR project works in 57 villages which are being provided water supply through borewells should be completed by this month-end, so as to ensure water to the residents.

During the review on the HUDCO project, the MD stated that the officials should devote attention on the pipeline junctions and gaps, while asking them to provide complete information on the junctions and gaps.

He called for transfer of the 75,000 tap connections under the old pipelines to the new set-up by the end of April and ensure water supply. Awareness programmes on the new connections should be organised, the MD stressed.

Among those present were ED M Satyanarayana, Technical Director Dr P S Suryanarayana, Project II Director D Sridhar Babu, Operations II Director P Ravi, CGMs, GMs.
