Bus stop endangering school kids

Musheerabad: The students of Government high school in Musheerabad have to face a tough time while crossing the road as there is a RTC bus stop in front of the school and many tempo drivers park their vehicles out the school boundary.

Apart from this, the ongoing Metro Rail work has been leading to inconvenience to the school students and traffic problems in the area. The tempos parked near the boundary wall of the school does not leave space for the school students to stand because of which they are forced to stand on the main road. A school student at bus stop said “Because of the tempos and autos parked near the school we have to stand on the road and many times the RTC buses block the way which leads to traffic problems”.

A motorist near the government high school said that the Musheerabad bus stop which located near the school is leading to traffic problems as there is no space left for the bikers to pass through when the bus arrives at the bus stop.

When asked about the same subject RTC Greater Hyderabad zone executive Director A Purushottam Naik said “First the department needs to examine the area and the location of the bus stop and if it causing problem for the citizens then we would plan to relocate it”.
