Corporator working to make Hastinapur swachh

Vanasthalipuram: Corporator of Hastinapur Padma Naik asserted here on Monday that she was working for making her division swachh.

Naik stated that sanitation was being given importance following the directive of Minister KTR. She said steps were being taken to prevent spread of contagious diseases in Hastinapur.

The corporator conducted a padayatra to assess the problems of local colony residents. She directed the sanitation supervisors to remove the sand piled up on either sides of the roads in streets in colonies by using tippers. She wanted the sanitation staff to take up regular work in colonies. Naik interacted with the residents to know their problems. They appealed to her to solve the problems of roads, drainage and drinking water.
