VC keen to introduce reforms in OU
Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University Prof S Ramachandram on Wednesday expressed happiness at OU getting the autonomous university status.
Osmania University: Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University Prof S Ramachandram on Wednesday expressed happiness at OU getting the autonomous university status.
In a release, he said that he would strive for taking the university to dizzy heights. On account of the team effort of the teachers and the taught the OU got NAAC A+ grade, he recalled and said that the university now got UGC’s autonomous status.
He said that he would be holding discussions with colleges, research organisations and other establishments on how to introduce reforms in the university to step up educational and research initiative in the university. OU registrar Prof Ch Gopal Reddy responded stating that the university, having earned the autonomous status, got an opportunity to groom it as a global university.
