Medak: Low power consumption Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs supplied to the households for domestic usage on subsidy from government, will now be available at ration shops in villages, said Medak Collector Dharma Reddy.
At a review meeting held here on Thursday, the Collector ordered the ration dealers in the town to distribute the durable LED bulbs charging Rs 65 with the commission of Rs 5 which are available in the market at Rs 120 to the people who are interested through the fair price shops. Medak mandal Tahsildar Yadagiri also participated in the meeting.
