Deepansh, a girl from Chhattisgarh is suffering from a serious ailment and was brought to Hyderabad for treatment. The doctors said that the treatment costs around Rs 16 lakh. The parents of the boy, who come from a poor economic background, could not afford the costs. They approached KTR through Twitter.
KTR immediately assured to provide assistance under the CM relief fund. But, since the patient is not from Telangana, the CMRF could not be given. But, since he had assured to help, KTR personally intervened and assured the parents that he would speak to the doctors to bring down the cost of the treatment.
He tweeted: Since the child is from Chhattisgarh, we may not be able to support from CMRF But I’ll personally speak to Dr. Ramesh, MD of Rainbow to get this done with minimal cost.That’s what makes KTR special!!
