Kothagudem: District Superintendent of Police Amber Kishore Jha on Wednesday gave a cheque for Rs 4 lakh to a police constable, who lost his leg in an accident while on duty. 

The SP said the amount was released under the accident scheme for cops and suggested the staff to be careful while delivering their duty.

Administration Officer Venkateswarlu, Office Superintendent Nageswara Rao, MTO Somulu and police officers welfare organisation district president Srinivas Rao were present at the time.
