The Indian Meteorological Department at Hyderabad has predicted that severe heat wave conditions for the next three days in Telangana.

According to the Met officials, the Nizamabad and Adilabad district could record a maximum temperature of 45 degrees and several other places in the state are likely to witness a fierce heat wave.
The maximum temperature recorded in Adilabad was 45 degrees on Sunday while in Nizamabad, it was 44.5, Medak 44, Ramagundam 43, Khammam and Nalgonda 42 and 41 degrees in Hyderabad.
The heat wave conditions are said to be severe due to lack of humidity in the atmosphere and could intensify over the next three days.
The public has been advised to refrain from venturing out in the sun during the afternoons unless during emergencies to avoid heat stroke.
