Plea to make Narayankhed ‘swachh’

Speaking after distributing wet and dry garbage baskets in the ninth ward, he stated that efforts were on to make Narayankhed swachh with the cooperation of Minister T Harish Rao and MLA Bhupal Reddy.
He said CC roads and sewerage drains at a cost of Rs.1.5 crore were completed recently in the town. Proposals to build CC roads and internal sewerage lines costing Rs.20 crore have been submitted to the State government.
The in charge sarpanch advised residents not to dump garbage everywhere, but hand over it to the panchayat autos at their doorstep. Among those present were EO Vasanthi and Ward Member Ambadas.
