Mayor-led GHMC team visits Indore

​Hyderabad: City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy along with Additional Commissioner Musharaf Ali, Enforcement Director Vishwajit, Additional Commissioner Ravi Kiran, SBM Project Manager Soma Bharath visited Indore Municipal Corporation as a part of study tour to personally inspect the activities of various civic bodies so as to further improve the sanitation and other fields for the overall development of the GHMC.

It is to be noted that Indore city achieved 1st rank in the country as a Cleanest City as a part of Swachh Survekshan 2017 and 2018 by adopting best practices in Solid waste management. The Mayor along with the officials visited Nandanagar area where the officials interacted with the residents of Indore Municipal Corporation and how the citizens are segregating the wet and dry waste and took suggestions from them. Later they inspected some of the areas and also transfer stations that how the transportation of garbage is being taken from one place to other.

Later, the Mayor along with the Commissioner and senior officials of the GHMC had a detailed meeting for two hours with the Commissioner and Additional Commissioners of Indore Municipal Corporation where the officials gave a power point presentation on the working of the Indore Municipal Corporation since 2015 and how could they win the prestigious award and briefed the officials of the GHMC about their day to day activities for overall development of Indore Municipal Corporation.
